Nigeria is blessed with creative and brilliant minds. The story of Olaoluwa Okelola shows how a young but talented man can achieve success by being outstanding in his own way.

Nigerian born Okelola is currently living in San Francisco, the USA, and working as a software engineer for social media giant Facebook. But Olaoluwa’s success is not just pure luck but the result of good education and hard work.

From September 1996 till December 2000, the boy attended the International School in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. This school is a co-educational institution established by the University of Ibadan in 1963. It was the first of its kind in Nigeria and was founded to provide an environment where children both from within and outside Nigeria could live and learn together thereby fostering racial integration, international friendship and unity.

In 2007 Olaoluwa Okelola graduared from Howard University. Later, Olaoluwa went to Avi-Cenna International School in Lagos and finished his secondary education in 2002. He continued his education at Howard University, Washington DC, where he studied systems and computer science.

 In January 2005, Ola joined Microsoft as explorer intern, but left it in August the same year for Google where he worked as an engineering intern. In 2007, he joined Facebook and he has been working there up till date.

Olaoluwa Okelola and his family Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, and Okelola seem to be enjoying a great working relationship. Zuckerberg, who is currently the 6th richest man in the world, has recently shared a picture from a prank played on him by his employee.
