UNIPORT Students Protest, Block The East-West Road Over School Fees Inrease

It was a bad Monday for commuters and motorist plying the Port Harcourt end of East-West road as students of the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, completely blocked the road leading to other states.
The crux of the matter is increase of school fees.The students went on rampage. See more photos below{}....{}

It was alleged that the school management have employed a new method which means that any student who fail to pay his/her fees would be forced to repeat a whole session. Following the protests, exams which were billed to start today (Monday) have been suspended by the school authorities.
